We were pleased to welcome fourteen representatives from of our partner organisations to discuss and exchange views with MEP Pascal Canfin, shadow rapporteur on the Sustainable Finance Omnibus, yesterday, at the European Parliament.
Only few minutes before the last shadow meeting, the Intergroup provided its partners the valuable opportunity to gain a better understanding of the Parliament’s progress on the Omnibus, while also giving them the opportunity to express their concerns and share their questions with a key stakeholder.
Thanks to our co-chair MEP Pascal Canfin for his availability and his contribution to this high-level discussion.

We were pleased to welcome over 150 participants at our launch event, which took place on Tuesday, 13 May at the European Parliament.
The strong turnout included five of our dear Co-Chairs MEP Thomas Pellerin-Carlin, MEP Annalisa Corrado, MEP Pascal Canfin, MEP Stine Bosse and MEP Isabel Benjumea, as well as more than 10 additional MEPs (both members and, hopefully, future members of the Intergroup).
The evening featured remarks from key policymakers and thought leaders:
• Stéphane Séjourné, Executive Vice-President of the European Commission
• Enrico Letta, President of the Jacques Delors Institute and author of the Report on the Future of the Single Market
• Contributions from members of the Intergroup Secretariat Helmut von Glasenapp of ELTI and Martin Bresson of Invest Europe
A sincere thank you to all speakers, MEPs, and attendees for contributing to a dynamic and forward-looking discussion. The high level of engagement reflects the importance of fostering investment to strengthen Europe’s competitiveness and sustainability.
We are pleased to announce the launch of the “Attracting Investment to Ensure a Competitive and Sustainable European Union” Intergroup.
