Launch Event “Attracting Investment to Ensure a Competitive and Sustainable European Union”
It is with great pleasure that, together with the co-chairs of the Intergroup “Attracting Investment to Ensure a Competitive and Sustainable European Union”, we are organising our launch event on 13th May 2025 from 5:30 to 8: 00 PM at the European Parliament.
The event will feature keynote interventions from Stéphane Séjourné, Executive Vice-President of the European Commission, and Enrico Letta, Author of the Report on the Future of the Single Market and Former Prime Minister of Italy.
A decade after its creation, this Intergroup remains a vital platform, bringing together more than 50 MEPs alongside investors, federations, associations, businesses, academics, and civil society. This unique cross-party and multi-stakeholder’ initiative serves as a key voice within and beyond the European Parliament, shaping the EU’s priorities to attract investment for a competitive and sustainable future.
This inaugural conference will mark the launch of this initiative, fostering discussion on investment and the EU competitiveness agenda for the 2024-2029 legislative period.
